Re: Snodgrass
in hindsight, having a no recall clause in january seems pretty stupid, given our injury record this time of year.

Re: Snodgrass
They were giving out some fanzine mag outside the ground last night - Sullivan was scathing about the signings of Fonte and Snodgrass;

'my sons begged me not to sign those two'

Firmly shifting to blame onto Slaven.

Re: Snodgrass
clearly has no love for us and for whatever reason didn't see eye to eye with Bilic. Didn't Sullivan slag him off also?

Had enough opportunities to impress for us, but was absolute crap, offered nothing..

Re: Snodgrass
Wasn't the reason we signed him because he'd had an absolutely cracking start to the season with hull ? So clearly could cut in the premier league - he'd actually done it before too with Norwich. He's just generally finds himself in sides that get relegated.... West Ham, Hull, Norwich, Villa, Leeds etc

Re: Snodgrass
It is possible he's one of those outstanding Championship players that can't cope with a step up in class. I really think Villa will want to sign him.

Re: Snodgrass
I would take him right now with our squad, but I agree not a player that is going to move us forward.

Maybe someone will doing a Downing with him for us.

Good I hope he keeps it up so we can sell him for decent money.

Re: Snodgrass
No way, playing half decent in that league is not a signal for a return. He was uttergarbage for us and that can’t all be down to poor player management. Ageing, slow and dead ball clearly isn’t what it used to be. Good thing is he should command a hlaf decent fee shoild Villa or somebody else want to buy.

Re: Snodgrass
I'd have him back next season. I think he'd do better under Moyes than he did under Bilic.

Correction that should be 7 goals with the winner tonight in the clip.

Re: Snodgrass
I know we can’t recall him without repaying the loan fee but we COULD sell him tomorrow couldn’t we?
Offer him to all the teams above Villa to liven them up and give Steve Bruce a coronary

Re: Snodgrass
With all the shenanigans of the Sullivans he has handled himself very well and definitely should be given another chance with us.
